All computer software, including ChildPlus, need certain hardware components to run effectively. These system requirements are the minimum requirements to run ChildPlus Desktop optimally.

Signature Pad

The Topaz SigLite T-L460 signature pad is the required signature pad for ChildPlus. Purchase the Topaz T-L460 SigLite on Amazon. If you aren’t ready to purchase a signature pad, you can always use your mouse to sign electronically.

With so many devices on the market, you might be confused about which device will work best for your agency and run ChildPlus.

Choose Windows devices for ChildPlus.
For the best experience, we suggest a device that can run ChildPlus directly. ChildPlus will run as a native program on any device capable of running Windows 7, 8 & 10 Professional that meets the minimum system requirements (as shown above). We would recommend any device running Microsoft Windows 7, 8, or 10 Professional for the Head Start professional. In addition to running ChildPlus, you’ll have access to applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Enter information or run reports using your favorite device, such as the iPhone or iPad, Android phone or tablet, MacBook, Chromebook, and more. Any device that has internet access will allow you to log in – anytime, anywhere – helping you become more efficient.

ChildPlus Online works best with iPad 3rd generation (released in 2012) model and higher. The iPad 2nd generation (released in 2011) model will work with ChildPlus Online, but it is not recommended. To find out what generation iPad you have, on your iPad go to Settings > About > Model Name. If it does not say what generation iPad you have, it will give you a model number. Choose your favorite device for using the Attendance App.
Devices that run on iOS or Android operating systems are the best choice to take advantage of the Attendance App. These types of devices will also be useful educational aids in the classroom.
