We love that you have options with ChildPlus. You can create your own reports, build additional modules, add new fields and use familiar terms in dropdown menus. These tools, however, should enhance your experience and not negatively impact it. That’s why we are shining a spotlight on William Swem at Family Resource Agency. He is an advocate for getting the absolute most out of ChildPlus and using the available tools to customize the database when needed.  

In the past William created many custom reports and filters to support his agency. With time, he noticed that ChildPlus features began to catch up with the needs of his agency and others. Enhancements such as grid reports reduce the need for creating tons of custom filters. The Performance Panel eliminates the need to develop external reports in Excel.  

William now believes that it is important for agencies to get reacquainted with ChildPlus and rediscover the full potential of the software. His advice is to determine what is important to your agency. Then find relevant reports in ChildPlus that present the data in the way you prefer to see it. He also points out that grid reports can often be used to help you dig deeper and customize the appearance of the report.  

With the addition of many exciting new features in ChildPlus Online and updated reports, you may find your custom solutions are a lot closer than you think.
